What's new

What we changed on the site lately, newest first. Questions or ideas? Tell us.

  1. Fantasy football terms in Learn

Five new plain-English pages: PPR scoring, the FLEX spot, the waiver wire, start/sit decisions and bye weeks, each with a worked example. The fantasy helper, the start/sit compare and NFL player pages now link to each other, and the footer lists the helper.

  2. Fantasy helper: locks, countdown and injury news

Players whose game has started are marked Locked and cannot be swapped, the next-kickoff tile counts down in your time zone, a banner warns when a starter's game is within an hour, and a line tells you if a starter's injury listing changed since you opened the page.

  3. Team defenses in the fantasy helper

Add a team defense (type a team name) and give your lineup a DEF spot. Defenses are ranked by the points the books' game total and spread imply for their opponent, as a rank out of the week's games, not as fantasy points, and the rank never counts toward your lineup total. Swaps also work now when a spot on your team is empty.

  4. Fantasy waiver wire

The fantasy helper now lists players worth a look by position, each with why he is there (a high number from the books' lines, a growing role, or a number well above his season average) and what he would do to your lineup. Import your Sleeper league and it shows only players on no roster in it.

  5. Start/sit compare for fantasy football

Pick any two players, from your team or by name, and see who has more points on this week's sportsbook lines, how each number is built stat by stat, and what separates them, or a plain toss-up when they are within a point. Share the link to settle a start/sit question.

    Compare two players →
  6. Fantasy helper: saved teams, swaps and a new look

The fantasy lineup helper now keeps up to three teams on your account (or in your browser when signed out), each with its own settings. Tap any player to see how his number is built and to swap him with a bench player, with the change to your total shown on each option, then switch back to the best lineup in one tap.

  7. Fantasy football lineup helper

Add your fantasy team (by name, or import it from Sleeper) and see the lineup with the most points this week's sportsbook prop lines imply under your league's settings (PPR, half PPR or standard, passing touchdown and interception values, tight end bonus, and how many QB, RB, WR, TE, FLEX, SUPERFLEX and K spots you start), with each player's matchup, injury status, bye week and the close calls. It is the books' view in fantasy points, not our own forecast.

  8. Your teams: local times, soonest first

On Your day, each followed team's next game now shows in your own time zone (with the zone name), the teams are listed with the one playing now first and then the soonest kickoff, and the injury report says when it was last checked.

    Open Your day →
  9. Smarter search

Search now finds players with the words in any order ("james lebron"), nicknames and short first names ("steph curry", "mike trout"), initials and apostrophes ("dj moore", "deaaron fox"), and teams by nickname or short school name ("niners", "sixers", "ohio st", "mich st").

  10. Four new Learn pages

Plain-English pages on the moneyline, the point spread, what a push or void means for a prop, and the fair line the boards compare hit rates against, each with a worked example.

    Open Learn →
  11. Your trial at a glance

While your free trial runs, Your day now shows the date it ends, what happens then, and how many props and teams you have set up so far.

    Open Your day →
  12. Clearer empty odds cards and Trends summary

On a phone, an odds board game that no book has priced yet now says so in one line instead of showing rows of dashes. The Trends summary sentence also reads correctly ("on 635 priced props across 3 sports").

    Open the odds boards →
  13. Fighter flags and total rounds on the home page

UFC fighters now show their country's flag beside the name on the home page, fight cards, fight pages, fighter pages, the fight prediction page and the UFC boards. The UFC row on the home page also shows the books' total rounds line.

    See the UFC card →
  14. A quicker way back in, and a setup checklist

Signed in, the home page now has a Your day button. A new account's Your day page starts with a short checklist: star a few props, follow a team and invite a friend.

    Open Your day →
  15. New pages open at the top

Following a link from the bottom of a long page now starts the next page at its top. Back and Forward still return you to where you were.

  16. Charts follow Over and Under

When you switch a props list or card to Under, the bars now show the hits in green: a game that went under is filled, and one that went over is hollow. The key above the chart says which is which.

  17. Follow a team

Tap Follow at the top of any team page and Your day shows that team's next game, last result and injury report. Kept in your browser; free.

    Open Your day →
  18. Your day

A new page for the props you saved: it flags a player who is on the injury report or a line that has moved half a point or more since you saved it, with the live tracker underneath. Free with any account.

    Open Your day →
  19. Search finds names without the accents

Typing odegaard, doncic or prochazka now finds Ødegaard, Dončić and Procházka. When nothing matches, search now says so instead of closing silently.

  20. Kickoff times stay visible on a phone

On props boards, each row's game and kickoff time now wraps onto a second line on a phone instead of being cut off.

  21. Friendlier error pages and retries

If a page fails to load you now get a Try again button and links to the main pages, and a player card that fails on a game page can be retried in place.

  22. Win-chance bars on every home-page row

MLB, NHL and soccer games on the home page now show the same no-vig win-chance bar the football rows had, so the market's view is readable at a glance in every sport.

    Open the home page →
  23. Clearer plan states on your account

A complimentary-Pro account now sees the free-trial option when its access is about to end, and the pricing page no longer says you are on Pro with no way forward.

    Open your account →
  24. Props lists follow the Over/Under switch

On game pages and boards, flipping to Under now re-reads every row, chip and last-ten count from the Under side instead of leaving the Over numbers in place.

  25. Invite a friend

Every account has an invite link. A friend who joins through it gets 7 days of Pro with no card; you get 7 days when they start a trial or subscribe. You only ever see counts, never who joined.

    Get your link →
  26. Games are listed by kickoff

Game pickers and trend lists put a game that is on now ahead of one later in the week (a Monday game before Thursday's).
