About Probetrics
Probetrics is a sports data and analytics service, not a sportsbook: we don't take bets, hold funds or set odds. It puts odds, player props, line movement and matchup data for the NFL, college football, NBA, WNBA, men's college basketball, MLB, the NHL and UFC in one place, and it runs a model whose winner picks are locked before the start and graded in public.

What Probetrics covers
Each sport's own pages are data: what is on, what the books are posting, and how the players and teams have done. Nothing on them is a pick for an upcoming game. The model's picks live in one place, Predictions, and its graded record is on Results.

How picks are locked and graded
- Locked before the start. Every pick is stored before kickoff, tip-off or the fight. It can update while lines and news change until then; the version in place at the start is the one graded, and it cannot be edited afterward.
- Graded after the final. Once the result is final, the pick is graded automatically.
- Winners are the record. Each sport's record is winners called: locked picks that named the winner, out of all graded picks. Misses stay in, and nothing is deleted.
- Backtests are labelled. Games priced after the fact, to test a model on past seasons, are marked as backtests and never count toward the record.

Where the data comes from
Official box scores, play-by-play, charting and sportsbook lines. Prices are the sportsbooks' own posted numbers, from books such as DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM. We do not name our other data providers; where a license requires a credit, it is shown next to the data it covers.
Numbers on a sport's pages describe what has happened or what the books are posting. A number is a model output only where the page says so, such as a win probability or a predicted score or margin. Feeds can be late or wrong; if you spot a mistake, tell us (see Contact below).

Probetrics is a sports data and analytics service, not a sportsbook: we take no bets, hold no funds and set no odds. Nothing here is personalized betting advice or a guarantee; data can be delayed or wrong, and you are responsible for following the laws where you live. A pick is a probability, and a 70% pick still loses about three times in ten.
