Terms of Service

Probetrics is an informational sports analytics service. We publish statistics, sportsbook odds and line movement, player prop history, statistical model outputs and our own graded track record for the NFL, college football, the NBA, the WNBA, MLB, the NHL, college basketball and the UFC.

We are not a sportsbook or gambling operator. We do not accept, place, broker or facilitate wagers, and we never hold or handle wagering funds. We do not set odds: the prices we show are posted by third-party sportsbooks, and we cannot place, change or cancel a bet for you.

Nothing on the Service is betting, financial or investment advice, and nothing is a guarantee. Model outputs are probabilistic estimates built from historical data; they are often wrong, and past performance, including our published track record, does not guarantee future results. Any decision you make, including a wager with a third-party sportsbook, is yours alone and at your own risk, and you are responsible for any wager you place.

You must be 21 or older to use the Service, and old enough to wager legally where you live. You are responsible for knowing whether sports wagering is legal in your jurisdiction. The Service is not intended for use where sports wagering information is not permitted; you are responsible for following the laws that apply to you. Some features need an account. You agree to give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure and accept responsibility for activity under your account. One account is for one person. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

Much of the Service is free. Pro is a paid subscription that adds the features described on our Pricing page. We may change what each plan includes; if a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance, and it applies from your next renewal.

Pro is billed in advance, yearly or monthly, through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars on the Pricing page before you subscribe; taxes may be added where they apply.

Free trial. New subscribers may get a 7-day free trial, once per person. A trial needs a payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription starts automatically when it ends and your payment method is charged the price of the plan you chose.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (each year or each month) at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel. We will give you advance notice of any price change, and it applies only from your next renewal, never in the middle of a period you have paid for.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing on your account page, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. If a payment fails, we may pause or end Pro features until it is fixed.

Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we do not give refunds or credits for partial periods or unused time. If you believe you were charged in error, email support@probetrics.com and we will look into it.

You agree not to:

• scrape, harvest or bulk-download content from the Service, or access it with bots or other automated tools;
• resell, redistribute, republish or commercially exploit our data, model outputs or content without written permission;
• share your account or paid access with anyone else;
• get around any limit, paywall or security measure of the Service;
• interfere with the Service or try to gain unauthorized access to any system or data;
• use the Service for anything unlawful, including wagering where it is not legal.

The Service, including its design, text, model outputs, statistical compilations and branding, belongs to Probetrics or its licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes while you follow these Terms. League, team, event and sportsbook names belong to their owners; Probetrics is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, team, promotion or sportsbook.

One exception: the public pick ledger (/results/ledger and its downloads at /results/ledger.csv and /results/ledger.json) is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). You may download, reuse, quote and republish it, commercially or not, as long as you credit Probetrics (probetrics.com). Section 7's limits on bulk downloading and republishing do not apply to those files.

The Service links to licensed third-party sportsbooks. Some links may be affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you sign up or deposit through them, at no extra cost to you. Sportsbooks have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their offers, odds, availability or conduct.

If you use the bet log, it is a private record you type in yourself, for your own reference. It is not connected to any sportsbook or account of yours, we cannot see or move money at any sportsbook, and we never place, confirm or settle a bet. Outcomes shown in it are computed from published final scores and may be wrong or delayed; your sportsbook's own record is the one that counts. How we handle the entries is described in our Privacy Policy.

You may invite friends with the personal invite link on your account page, only if they are 21 or older. A friend who creates a new account through your link may receive a limited period of complimentary Pro access; you may receive more days of Pro when that friend starts a free trial or subscribes. These are promotional access periods only: they have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged, and are limited per person (currently up to eight rewards per account and one invitation per new account). Complimentary access does not use up your free trial.

Do not use the program to create or invite accounts you control, to share your link in spam or misleading ways, or to mislead anyone about what Probetrics is or about gambling. We may refuse, reverse or end any invitation or access period we reasonably believe is abusive or made in error, and we may change or end the program at any time. We may also give or withdraw complimentary access at our discretion.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Odds, statistics, injury information and schedules come from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and you should confirm any price, line or injury status with the sportsbook or official source before you rely on it. Results and model performance are not guaranteed. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Service at any time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Probetrics will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits or wagering losses of any kind, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

You may stop using the Service or ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections 6 and 8 through 14 survive the end of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms. We will change the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we will give notice on the Service or by email before they take effect. Using the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
