Privacy Policy

• Account information. When you create an account we receive your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and profile picture Google shares. Sign-in and account management are run by Clerk.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. Your card number goes straight to Stripe; we never see or store it. We keep a Stripe customer reference and your subscription's status, plan, renewal or end date and whether it is set to cancel.
• Preferences you create. Alert settings and, when you are signed in, the player props you star (the prop, its game and the line and prices when you saved it), tied to your account so the list follows you across devices. Signed out, saved props stay in your browser only.
• Your bet log. If you use the bet log, we keep the bets you enter yourself (the game, market, side, line, odds, your optional stake, book and note), how each was graded from final scores and stats, and when. It is private to your account, is never shown to other people or used in our own record, and you can export it as a file or delete any bet (or all of them) at any time.
• The launch list, the weekly recap and the daily email. If you leave your address in an email sign-up form ("Get notified", "Get the weekly recap"), we keep the address, the sports you chose (optional), where on the site the form was, the sentence you agreed to and when, whether you have confirmed and unsubscribed, and when. Nothing else about you is stored for it (no IP address, device or browser details). We are not sending email yet: when we do, the first message is a confirmation link, and you are only added to the list once you use it. Until you confirm, nothing else is sent to you. After you unsubscribe we keep the address on a do-not-email list so it is not re-added by mistake.
• Sign-up and subscription counts. We keep a small log of when accounts are created and when a subscription starts a trial, becomes paid, is cancelled or has a failed payment, with the plan (yearly or monthly) and the spot on the site that led to it. This log holds no name, email, account id or card detail; it is used only to count how the Service is used.
• Usage analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and the product events listed in section 3. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other sites.
• Log and security data. Our hosting providers record standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and debugging, and we count requests per IP address for a short time to stop abuse (rate limiting).
• Stored in your browser only. Your light or dark theme choice, the props you save on the football props boards and where you are in the optional product tour (and which sports' tour offers you have seen) are kept in your browser's local storage; they never reach our servers.

To provide and secure the Service, run your account and subscription, send transactional email (sign-in codes, billing notices, alerts you ask for), fix problems, and understand in aggregate which parts of the Service people use so we can improve it. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Besides page views, we record these events in Vercel Web Analytics. None of them carries your email, your name or your account id.

• teaser_view / teaser_click: a panel about the model or Pro was shown or followed: which panel, the sport, whether it was locked, where the link went.
• signup_start: a sign-in or create-account link was followed, and where on the site.
• checkout_start: a subscribe button was followed: the plan (yearly or monthly) and whether a free trial applied.
• checkout_success: a checkout finished and Pro turned on: the plan and the spot on the site that led to it.
• pricing_view: the pricing page was opened: how the site was set up at the time (early access, open, live), the spot that led there, whether the visitor was signed in.
• depth_open / depth_limit_hit: a free account opened one player's full breakdown (how many of its daily views are left), or met the daily limit.
• card_lock_view / card_lock_signup_click: a player card ended at its lock (which state: signed out, free account, or out of views), or its create-account link was followed.
• board_edge_lock_view: the note on a props board or research list saying hit rates and the gap against the price are part of Pro was shown: the sport and where.
• board_edge_lock_click: the note on a props board or research list saying hit rates and the gap against the price are part of Pro was followed: the sport and whether the link led to the free trial or to a free account.
• welcome_nudge / trial_nudge: the one-line note after you create an account, or the reminder in the last two days of a free trial, was shown, followed or closed (for the reminder, how many days were left).
• first_star_tip_view / first_star_saved / first_star_dismiss: the one-time tip pointing at a save star after you create an account was shown, you saved your first prop after it, or you closed or followed it (whether it was before or after the tip, and how it was closed).
• portal_open: the billing-portal link was followed, and from which page.
• invite_cta_click: a link to the invite-a-friend card was followed, and from which page (never who you invite).
• email_capture: the email sign-up form was submitted, and where on the site it sat (never the address).
• saved_prop_signin_click: the account link on the saved-props page was followed: whether to create an account or sign in.
• outbound_book_click: a link to a sportsbook was followed: the book, the market and the part of the site when known, whether it was an affiliate link, and the page it was on.
• search_no_results: a site search found nothing: the first 60 characters of what was searched.
• saved_prop_add: a player prop was saved to your saved list: the prop market.
• share_card_download: a pick's share image was saved: the sport and the image format.
• prop_share: a prop card was shared, its link copied, or its image saved: the sport and which of those.
• tour_start / tour_step / tour_complete / tour_dismiss: the optional product tour was started, moved to a step, finished or closed: which tour (the general one or a sport's), the step number and the spot on the site that started it.
• bet_logged: a bet was added to your own bet log: the sport, whether it was a game bet or a prop, and where on the site (never the game, player, odds or stake).

• Sign-in cookies (Clerk). Needed to keep you signed in and to protect your account. They are set when you sign in or visit the account pages, and they are strictly necessary.
• Checkout (Stripe). Stripe's checkout and billing pages, on stripe.com, use their own cookies for payment security and fraud prevention, under Stripe's privacy policy.
• No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookie-free.
• Free-trial reminder cookie. While the paywall is on and you are on a free trial, your account page leaves one small cookie (pb_trial) holding only the date the trial ends, so the site can show "Trial ends in N days". It expires with the trial and is removed when you have no trial.
• Invite cookie. If you open a friend's invite link, one small cookie (pt_ref) holds that invite code for 30 days so the invite can be applied when you create your account. It is removed once it has been applied. Invites store only a code, never an email address: to refuse a second invite week for the same mailbox we keep a one-way hash of the normalized address. The person whose link you used is told only a number (how many friends joined and how many started a trial), never your name or email, even when the invite link was shared publicly.
• Local and session storage. Your theme, your saved props (a copy of your account list when you are signed in), and a note that stops a confirmation page from being counted twice. You can clear these from your browser at any time.

We share personal information only with service providers that run the Service for us, under their own contractual and privacy obligations:

• Clerk: sign-in and account management
• Google: optional "Sign in with Google"
• Stripe: payments, subscriptions and invoices
• Vercel: website hosting and Web Analytics
• Railway: database and data-processing infrastructure

Sportsbooks we link to are separate companies: when you follow a link to one, its own privacy policy applies. We disclose personal information otherwise only if the law requires it, or to protect the Service, our users or the public.

• Account information and preferences: while your account exists.
• After you ask us to delete your account: removed within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax, billing or fraud-prevention reasons (Stripe keeps payment records under its own retention rules).
• Analytics: page views and events, kept in aggregate by Vercel Web Analytics.
• Request logs: kept by our hosting providers for a limited period; rate-limiting counters expire within minutes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to some processing. We honor reasonable requests from anyone, wherever they live: email support@probetrics.com from your account email. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account page.

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Sign-in is handled by Clerk and payments by Stripe, both of which run industry-standard security programs. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep as little as we can: the less we hold, the less can be exposed.

The Service is for adults of legal sports-wagering age (21+ in most US states) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. We will change the "last updated" date above, and announce significant changes on the Service or by email.
