Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information Probetrics ("we", "us") collects when you use probetrics.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run an account-based subscription service, we never see your full payment details, and we do not sell your personal information or run third-party ad tracking.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, the name and profile photo Google shares with us. Authentication is handled by Clerk.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe — we never see or store it. We store only a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status.
- Preferences. Saved views, alerts, and similar settings you create in your account.
- Log and device data. Our hosting providers record standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and debugging.
- Cookies. We use cookies only for authentication (keeping you signed in). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How we use it
To provide and secure the Service, process subscriptions, send transactional email (sign-in verification, billing notices, alerts you request), fix problems, and understand aggregate usage so we can improve the product. We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.
3. Who processes it
We share personal information only with service providers that run the Service on our behalf, under their own contractual and privacy obligations:
- Clerk — authentication and account management
- Stripe — payment processing
- Google— optional "Sign in with Google"
- Vercel — website hosting
- Railway — database and data-processing infrastructure
We may also add a privacy-respecting product-analytics tool; if we do, this policy will be updated. Beyond that, we disclose personal information only if required by law or to protect the Service, our users, or the public.
4. Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account exists. To delete your account and associated personal data, email support@probetrics.com from your account email — we will delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to certain processing. We honor reasonable requests from anyone regardless of jurisdiction — email us and we'll help.
6. Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Credentials are handled by Clerk and payments by Stripe, both of which maintain industry-standard security programs. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for the minimum data footprint — the less we hold, the less can be exposed.
7. Age
The Service is intended for adults of legal sports-wagering age (21+ in most U.S. states) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above, and significant changes will be announced on the site or by email.
